Our Belief

We believe a healthy high-performance culture starts with the individual.

Our practice is focused first on assessment, understanding your current situation, goals, and desired outcomes and then developing a program that is tailored to your needs.

The BetterYet program is a science-backed well-being program designed to help individuals learn new skills, practice, and change so that they can show up to work and in life at their best. It’s personal development for professional improvement.

Our training consists of micro-courses with engaging case studies, rich storytelling and science-based action steps to give participants a roadmap for developing new skills.

Our clients are like-minded leaders who engage us to strengthen their teams and, in some cases, change their culture.

The Science

We are grateful for Dr. Martin Seligman and his band of followers for changing how we look at psychology in the United States and creating the field of positive psychology in 1998. 

And, thank you to the multitude of researchers who are making great advancements in understanding the power of the human mind, and the most effective ways for people to flourish.

Dr. Martin Seligman and his partners have identified the main factors required for human beings to flourish:

The International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) defines Positive psychology as the scientific study of what enables individuals and communities to thrive.


The BetterYet program brings together research from the field of positive psychology, neuroscience, and behavior change into a science-backed program that improves well-being. We release the innate energy that remains untapped in individuals.

What we know:

  • The scientists call it Neuroplasticity. We think it is amazing. Through repetition and practice, we can build our brain just like a muscle by adopting new and more positive thinking. It’s like exercising – your brain has never been this healthy.

  • But, it is the practice part of what we teach that can be difficult. The specific tools and techniques to enable people to flourish are not complicated but it is hard work. And, the hard work pays off because the difference in the quality of your life, work and relationships is a game changer.

  • Where we are in our life is a result of our habits. To create positive and lasting change in our lives, we need to build new habits and building new habits requires commitment, practice, and time to change.

01 — BetterYet Assessment

Understanding you, your teams and culture are equally as important as measuring the overall success of the program, we always start our work together with an assessment.

In some cases, we will execute a simple survey to employees that will participate in the program which will be repeated to measure results. In other cases, we spend time 1:1 interviewing employees or small groups to gather a baseline understanding of the culture, strengths, and areas that might need attention and focus.

Either way, we believe our program will impact your people and organization and we will work together to make sure your desired results are measured and delivered.

02 —BetterYet Program

The BetterYet program is interactive, habit-building, and uses the most up-to-date research and science behind human flourishing to help people live their best life.

Every skill we teach is rooted in research and reinforced through engaging activities to activate the mind, soul, heart and funny bone of our participants.

We help individuals focus on their well-being, learn new skills to adopt new habits, and as a result show up to work at their best. We believe and research has shown this type of employee engagement drives positive performance for any organization.

Learning new skills and creating new routines and habits is a journey. When helping an individual learn how to thrive in life, to show up at their best each and every day, it takes time and it’s more than just one workshop.

Our program is designed to be delivered with repetition – either over 6-12 months with content delivered each month or delivered quarterly over 4-6 sessions.

03 — Executive Retreats

We believe that in all organizations, people take their cues from leadership.

Before implementing the Positive Foundry program, we strongly encourage companies to make sure the leaders are committed. In some cases, we can accomplish this together at an executive retreat.

In a ½ day or all-day session, we lead the executive team through the Positive Foundry program covering each module at an accelerated pace, with exercises to reinforce the training and dialogue to gather feedback and insights that will allow for even more customization to the program.

04— Keynotes & Workshops

All of our modules can be delivered in a keynote or workshop format and customized upon request.

However, with our goal to help individuals flourish so that organizations can flourish, we strongly encourage clients to consider some repetition of training to help people experience true change. It is great to learn something at a workshop and leave with a new habit; but it is amazing to learn how to implement several new habits and to be given the time and repetition to flourish!
